About Mavis
Mavis began her career as a film production coordinator in Los Angeles during the heydays of music videos. Later her cowboy boots took her to Nashville where she worked with several country artist greats to create amazing videos. There she also began honing her writing skills on scripts and commercial copy. Eventually, she loaded up her pick-up truck and moved to Seattle where she worked with Women in Film to promote film production in the great Northwest. Once settled in Seattle, she opened her company, Mambo Productions and worked as a script writer and PR chick.
Since 2003, Mavis has also been a Director Consultant with BNI, the world’s largest referral organization. With BNI, she starts and supports chapters throughout the Puget Sound and coaches entrepreneurs on word-of-mouth marketing.
These days her focus is on writing (her own works and ghostwriting) and speaking to groups across the country. For more information, contact Mavis Lamb.
